This is our story

"Karlsson's Home ASBL" Children & Families' Foundation was established in 2024 in Belgium by Karlsson Homes. It is a charity organization that helps people with special needs and disabilities including Down syndrome and autism. We are sure that a person with any kind of physical, mental, intellectual or any other type of disability should have every opportunity to live life to the fullest in a family and in society. It is an opportunity to develop, be successful and enjoy life! That is why we work on our mission which is to create a community open to people with special needs and disabilities by developing a sustainable system of professional support for families when it comes to education, job placement and leisure. The main dimensions of our work are, to create a scope of free activities and services for children with special needs and their families, to develop a professional and parental community; to inform the society in order to change the attitudes towards people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other forms of disabilities including intellectual and physical.
